As a developer in this position your areas of focus will be Protection and Enterprise Features in the Defender Endpoint Protection products. You will work closely with Antimalware Researchers, Program Managers and other Security Engineering disciplines to deliver core protection features in Windows and the Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection suite. You will fill a vital role in the fight against malware and see the results of your work contributing to protection of hundreds of millions of customers.
Required Qualifications: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent 1 + years of experience in the software engineering industry with strong problem-solving skills Excellent coding, debugging and validation skills in C/C++ or similar, complemented by secondary language for tools development, data analysis or automation Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in the antimalware space, security, Windows OS internals or networking Technical excellence and leadership: proven track record of owning end to end projects and driving them from conception to completion, including design, coding, validation
