The Bing Whole Page Experience team is innovating on deep experiences and building end-to-end features. We focus on enabling users to get their questions answer as well as complete their tasks more easily with Bing. We build scalable frameworks to power hundreds of different experiences on Bing and hundreds of millions user queries per day from all over the world and all kinds of endpoints (browser, cellphone App, Cortana, Xbox, Kindle...). We handle user locations in order to provide the most accurate local results while best protect user's privacy. As part of the Bing Whole Page Experience team, you will design and develop the end-to-end feature to power Bing answers, including surfacing the data, wiring up the answer, coordinate different answers on the page and finally render it. You will also run online experiments every day and write datamining programs to analyze user's behavior, in order to get insight of user and iterate/evolve your feature. Design and implement new software features. Through experimentation, evolve and improve existing features and designs. Contribute to debugging and problem solving with the live service. Write and maintain high quality and performant code with tests. Collaborate with members of your team and partner teams. Have fun, working in a diverse team of passionate professionals.
BS in Computer Science or related discipline 2+ years of software engineering experience Great communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with a variety of people on other teams. Passionate and self-motivated. Preferred 1+ year of industry experience on distributed systems and big data platforms. Preferred 1+ year of industry experience of web development.
