As a developer in this position your areas of focus will be Performance, Reliability, and Protection Features in the Defender endpoint protection products. You will work closely with Antimalware Researchers, Program Managers and other Security Engineering disciplines to deliver core proteciton features in Defender clinet suite and the tools that power analysis in the cloud. You will fill a vital role in the fight agianst malware and see the results of your work contributing to protection of hundreds of millions of customers.
Required Qualifications: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent 3+ years of experience in the software engineering industry with strong problem solving skills Excellent coding, debugging, and validation skills in a primary language, complemented by secondary language for tools development or data analysis Preferred Qualificaitons: Good understanding of security space or the Windows OS internals Proven track record of owning features/scenarios/projects and driving them from cenception to completion Passion for quality, customer satisfaction, and new technologies #WDATPRED Ability to meet
