The mission of the Bing Homepage team, under Bing Growth and Engagement group, is to provide an amazing entry point experience to Bing search engine users. As the main entry point into the product, our goals are to provide a fast, modern, elegant, informative, engaging, reliable and delightful experience that honors the brand, puts search functionality front and center and differentiates from our competitors. We believe that to fulfill our mission, we must focus on the customer, understand them, provide an experience that's catered to their preferences and further customizable. We pay attention to even minor details because, after all, we are the face of Bing and the most externally recognized element of the Bing product. •Design, implement, ship, evaluate and support new Homepage scenarios and services. •Lead others by example by producing simple, extensible, highly performant and maintainable quality code. •Seek opportunities in our day-to-day processes and code to improve quality and efficiency from ideation to deployment. •Use your experience with a broad range of technology stacks, platforms and tools to do your best, most efficient work and teach others to do the same. •Collaborate with Bing teams and engineers inside and outside our group to identify the best ideas, solutions and scenarios to improve Homepage
•4+ years of design and coding experience •Proficient in web design using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, etc. •Proficient coding skills in C#, C/C++, Java, Python or any other OOP language •Proven track record of shipping online services in a fast-paced environment. •Demonstrated ability and experience in the entire development cycle: design, implementation, deployment, and live site. •Strong, demonstrable problems solving skills. •Self-directed, results-driven team player, individual accountability. •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. •Preferred qualifications: proficiency
