The Maps Platform team is responsible for delivering enterprise level solutions a large scale. If you have ever used any of the Bing Maps products our platform is the engine behind these products. Our goal is to provide the best and most efficient developer and enterprise mapping solution regardless of interface. We are looking for experienced developers that share our enthusiasm and passion for locations services, working with large and small scale customers, and looking at emerging technologies for integration with locations services. Being part of the Maps Platform team you will join a enthusiastic team that works on both large scale (tens of thousands of requests per second), and high availability production services.
Design and development of large scale online and offline platform to produce high quality data and services. Optimize platforms and systems to make them highly efficient in term of both time and space complexity. Develop a platform that is robust, allows for rapid development, low development cost, and low maintenance cost. Understand Geospatial data and scenarios.
5 years design and/or development skills/experience. Extensive knowledge in .NET, C#, Cloud and parallel computing, JavaScript, Node.JS, HTML Deep understanding of efficient data structures and algorithms Ability to drive technical investigations and prototyping in a fast-paced startup environment Database expertise, is a strong plus Bachelor degree in computer science or related areas is required. PhD or Master in these areas is a plus. Geospatial knowledge a strong plus
