The Azure IoT Mobility team, comprised of both the Connected Vehicle and Azure Maps teams, is building on that leadership to drive a new generation of IoT mobility scenarios that utilize and build on Azure's IoT base of comprehensive solutions: from devices, device management, gateways, advanced analytics, and command/control functionality. We are aiming to connect millions of "moving" devices and help create the futuristic world we can only imagine today. The Azure IoT Connected Vehicle and Azure Maps teams was formed to support devices that move, and we are looking for highly motivated and talented engineers to design and deliver

Responsibilities include: Build scalable systems and services for managing millions of devices connected to Azure Build services that excel at live-site and lifecycle operations like: upgrades with no downtime, rollback, operational data collection, real-time monitoring, self-healing and repair Build engineering infrastructure tools and services to enable team members to be highly productive Continually find ways to lower the COGs of our services on a day to day basis so that we can pass those savings to our customers or improve our margins Excited about making better software and continuously
Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell Preferred Qualifications: Effective collaborator, experienced in creating technical partnerships across teams BSc/MS in Computer Science or related technical field experience Strong problem-solving skills Proven track record of design and technical accomplishment Exposure to service engineering, including experience with distributed systems and live-site operations of large web-scale online services Knowledge of Microsoft
