The Azure Management team empowers companies and individuals to use the full capability of the Azure platform. We build the foundational tools and services used to manage, monitor and configure huge fleets of virtual machines, containers and other resources. We have ambitious plans to bring the power of these services to machines outside Azure, allowing a way to manage both cloud and on-premise servers seamlessly and at huge scale. We're looking for a talented software engineer to join our friendly, productive, low-drama team. Behind the scenes, we build these high-scale services using a wide and growing range of tools, including other Azure services, Docker, Kubernetes, Node.js, SQL, C# and PowerShell. Job qualifications: 5+ years of software development Preferred: Experience with C# or C++ Demonstrable experience building scalable systems with Cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS or Google Compute Engine Strong written and oral communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills BS in computer science (or related field) Knowledge of how the web works i.e. REST APIs, Authentication, web stack development Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
