The Windows Currency team is responsible for keeping 2+ Billion happily engaged, connected and up-to date Windows customers. The Update Platform team is responsible for the client-side components of this machinery. A critical component of operating that infrastructure is measuring how the update stack is doing in-market; driving visibility into its performance, reliability and quality and holding the various components of the stack accountable; and utilizing the insights drawn from in-market and pre-release experimentation to drive future investments. The Update Platform Insights team is tasked with driving that charter. This position will provide challenging opportunities to design, architect and implement solutions in realizing the Windows as a Service vision.
The ideal candidate for this position brings with them expertise and experience working with Big Data to drive targeted insights . The team needs to be able to measure more holistic top-level KPIs as well as the efficacy of various features in pre-release/flighting and in retail. When things are not working as expected, help drive that to closure with the team responsible. That will require working with peer teams in your organization and with cross-group partner teams.
