Primary Responsibilities: Write clean well thought out code with an emphasis on quality, simplicity, and maintainability, while also mentoring others to do the same. Support and influence the team culture of being customer centric and continuously improving. Lead the team in adopting relevant new technologies, tools, methods and processes from Microsoft and industry. In collaboration with others apply engineering principles to solve complex problems while leveraging sound engineering practices. Review external solutions and provide technical assessments. Basic Qualifications: • 4+ years of software engineering experiences building and shipping high performance and scalable systems and services. • 1+ year of experience building distrubuted systems on public cloud environments. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with any of the following testing: performance testing, security testing, privacy testing, accessibility testing, and localization / globalization testing. • Experience with DevOps model including but not limited to Continuous Delivery, TDD, and Testing in Production. • Experience with Cosmos, Hadoop, SQL or other data processing technologies
