The Studios Quality team at Microsoft Studios' is looking for a Software Engineer who wants to make a big impact on the quality of the next generation of 1 st Party game titles. We support the internal studios and 1 st Party Publishing teams within Microsoft Studios, including games like Age of Empires, State of Decay, Crackdown, Gears of War among many others. You'll work directly with other quality engineers, producers, developers, designers, content creators, and everyone else that comes together to create incredible entertainment experiences.

As a part of the Quality team you will be responsible for ensuring the end-to-end quality and user experience for the features on the title you're working on. This includes: developing and planning a strategy to ensure coverage and confidence; implementing the strategy directly and through collaboration with your team; executing on the plan through tool development, data analysis, and hands-on experience with the game... and you will be doing all of this while making sure that every feature is both fun and functional. The successful candidate must have: BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience Strong initiative, willingness to learn quickly to impact the project and team Passion for the entertainment and gaming space Excellent communication and cross-group collaboration skills Ability to apply strong engineering skills to testing methodologies and quality assurance Optionally, the candidate will have: 1-3+ years of hands-on software development/testing experience Familiarity with Xbox One, Xbox LIVE, and XLSP technologies Experience in game development Experience with Performance,
