The Amazon Prime Delivery Experience team is seeking a seasoned Software Development Manager to lead a team that powers the delivery experience on all of Amazon's Global retail websites and subsidiaries. In this role, you will: · Define the strategy and roadmap for your team · Hire and develop the industry’s best talent to build a strong and well-balanced team · Work across the organization to deliver the best in-class delivery experience for our customers while balancing critical business objectives · Build the next generation systems for representing delivery choices to allow rapid innovation in the area of User Experience · Build software
· 5+ years of experience managing software engineers (including hiring, performance evaluations, etc.) · Strong software design skills and experience architecting highly-scalable and low latency systems · Experience developing in at least one of Java, C# or C++ · A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or related industry experience· A strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, such as algorithms and data structures · Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment · A deep understanding of cross-functional multiple-team based software development
