In the role of Software Development Manager, you will design and deliver software solutions in a complex space spanning global services, hundreds of device types, dozens of features, and a multitude of user interfaces. This role requires working closely with business, product, engineering and NLU Science leaders within Alexa Communications and across Amazon to deliver ground breaking multimedia messaging features. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent · Experience leading a team of software engineers of six or more · 3+ years of experience managing software development teams, ideally with hands-on architectural and distributed systems experience · Experience with the tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C#,C++, Objective C) and open-source technologies · Experience with software development principles and application of clear methodology in SDLC · 5+ years experience with object oriented development· 7+ years of software development experience,
