Every day, thousands of AWS customers make changes to their account, starting new EC2 instances, creating new databases in RDS, authoring new Lambda functions, etc. AWS Config helps those customers track millions configuration changes for their resources while Config rules help our largest enterprise customers manage their compliance posture. It is still Day 1, and many customers are clamoring for us to provide more solutions to help them manage their enterprise systems. There are hard problems to be solved, and we're looking for the right person to take the reins in helping to solve them. We're looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead the AWS Config team. Cloud compliance management is absolutely critical for our clients, and you will have the opportunity to blaze a new trails for tracking, validating, and reporting on millions of resources. · Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field · 5+ years professional software engineering experience · 3+ years of experience building, leading, managing and mentoring high-performance engineering teams · Proven track record delivering high quality software on time · Demonstrated passion for people leadership, management and mentoring · Possess strong verbal and written communication skills · Possess strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities in the face of ambiguity · Proven track record of building and shipping enterprise software products
