How do we effectively leverage Econometrics, predictive algorithms, machine learning, UX design, and service-oriented architecture to build the tech platform that allows us to answer these critical questions? As a Software Development Manager on the Worldwide Operations Talent Products Team you will have an opportunity to collaborate with a team of economists, applied research scientists, ML engineers, software development engineers, data engineers, UX design, and product management to answer these questions by developing the technical platform and internal-facing products to enable and manage these insights at scale. Basic Qualifications · 5+ years of experience building and managing software engineering teams and developing technical direct reports through promotion, performance review communication, accountability, motivation/engagement · Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, e.g. Java, C#, or C++ · Deep understanding of software engineering practices, object oriented analysis and design, agile methodologies, design patterns, and algorithms · Track record of shipping production-quality software on time · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field· A history of working in start-up
