We are looking for amazing Software Development Engineers to join the Inventory Placement Crossdock Optimization team! As a SDE on the Crossdock Optimization team you’ll work on the most advanced systems in Inventory Placement. Our systems decide where to place inventory across Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers worldwide with the objective of placing the right inventory in the right place at the right time to delight our customers and provide them with the selection and speed of delivery that they desire. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation. One year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation must involve: writing software in an object-oriented language; data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and asynchronous architectures; familiarity with a Unix/Linux development environment; and understanding of system and application performance characteristics.Applicants must meet all of the above
