Do you have experience developing ServiceNow applications? Do you want to create ServiceNow applications used by some of the biggest companies in the world using AWS? Join the AWS Managed Services team! Our goal is to increase enterprise adoption of AWS by providing an AWS infrastructure operations management service. Enterprise customers heavily use ServiceNow and we have custom applications to bridge communication between AMS and the ServiceNow platform. AMS is looking for a software engineer to help us provide automated outcomes for critical AWS infrastructure operations (e.g. operations as code) across provisioning, monitoring, auto remediation, patch, backup, compliance, security and recovery. You will be at the forefront of cloud technologies with interactions with exposure to hundreds of AWS services. You will be building intelligent software that automates infrastructure operations and provides recommendations to AWS users who are hungry for deep insights into cost optimization,
· 2+ years of internship or professional software development experience · 1+ year(s) of internship or professional ServiceNow development · BS in Computer Science or equivalent· Experience developing distributed systems using AWS a strong plus · Experience collaborating directly with end users to address requirements · Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. · Ability to effectively articulate technical issues and solutions
