The Mobile Service team is building the future of Prime Video. Our services supports millions of devices daily in over 200 territories around the world. We are working with app developers, service teams, and data providers to dramatically improve the customer experience and implement cutting edge products used every day, by people you know. You will work on a team of 6 SDEs owning the Borg Platform. The Borg Platform consists of a Tier-1 service (Borg Service) that enables customers (client engineers) to own the definition, experimentation and release cycle of use case specific APIs, via self-service tools and processes. Each API is defined as a transform created by the customers of Borg. A transform is written in JavaScript and executes within the Borg service. Each transform contains customer specific logic, aggregate data across multiple providers within Amazon, transforms and combines the data into a customer specified output. The Borg Platform is used by 6 distinct client teams within
· Bachelor Degree in computer science or related field. · 4 plus years of proven experience in Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, data structures, and object-oriented design. · Strong problem solving skills and an ability to handle ambiguous challenges. · Ability to take a problem, create the design and estimate the time to implement the design autonomously. · Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-group, with a passion for team collaboration. · Proven ability to work in an ownership and results oriented culture.· Post-graduate degree
