We are the Amazon FreeRTOS team, with the vision of enabling IoT devices to easily and securely interact with cloud applications and other devices. We build and manage the embedded IoT operating system that will be used to create, connect and secure the next generation of innovative IoT devices. IoT systems consist of physical devices, from cars, light bulbs, sensor grids and more, that connect to the Internet. There will be 50 billion connected devices in 2020 if current trends continue, and any device that consumes electricity can become connected. We are looking for a creative and passionate senior software engineer – especially one who enjoys wearing many hats – to tie together devices, embedded software and cloud services into end to end solutions. · Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, and 1+ years of SW engineering experience · Proficiency in a low-level programming language such as C or C++, and familiarity with higher order languages like Java, Scala or C# · Excellent problem solving skills. · Possess a sound understanding of the basic areas of Computer Science and Engineering such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Computer Architecture. · Candidate must have good written and oral
