Are you a motivated software engineer, ready to challenge yourself, have fun, and make history with AWS? Come join our Website Engineering team! The AWS Website Engineering team owns the full stack of the AWS website (aws.amazon.com) and drives innovation on the set of pages that represents the main source of knowledge for AWS. The vast majority of projects on which the team works are based on native AWS solutions and services such as DynamoDB, Lambda, CloudFront and Kinesis. The team enables hundreds of product managers to successfully push high-quality content to our customers worldwide. As Software Development Engineer for the AWS Website Engineering team, you'll join a fast-growing tech organization with plenty of technical talent. You'll work in a software development team that owns the customer-facing technology platform that powers aws.amazon.com and the other main AWS websites. Your team will drive and own core innovations for our customers worldwide. You'll contribute to executing
• 3+ years of professional working experience in software development • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience • Excellent component design skills • Strong design skills around the user experience • Experience with responsive web design, media queries, resolution independent image display, and the ability to deliver outstanding functionality across devices and platforms • Solid coding practices, including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for Agile development • Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch
