The AWS SDKs are the gateway to the 150+ AWS services, and the Java being one of the most used languages on AWS makes the Java SDK the primary library for developers the world over. Our team owns this SDK, as well as popular high level libraries like DynamoDB Mapper and TransferManager. We set the pace for Java development on AWS for customers and the numerous internal teams alike. We build out in the open, are passionate about developer experience and client side tools, and are currently looking for seasoned Java engineers to help us build the next version of the Java SDK. · 4+ years of professional software development experience · 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design · 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, (additional 4 years work experience is acceptable in place of a Bachelor’s degree) · 2+ years professional experience in software development · Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm
