Within Lambda, the Seattle based Frontend team is growing rapidly and looking for strong software developers who can help us scale Lambda to meet customer demand. Everything becomes a Computer Science problem at scale and that is certainly true for the problems that the Frontend team solves. In this role, you will build systems which are low latency and highly scalable. You will be well versed in distributed systems, profiling, optimization, and capacity forecasting
· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 3-5+ years relevant work experience. · Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design and problem solving. · Extensive knowledge and deep understanding of at least one modern programming language, such as Java, Scala, C++, or C#.· Experience in C/C++ or Java. · Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. · Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive. · Familiarity with Linux. · Demonstrated capability to provide depth and breadth technical leadership to agile teams.
