AWS Lambda is changing the way that companies big and small think about computing in the cloud. Lambda functions offer customers a "serverless" way to create applications. Developers build scalable, fault-tolerant production systems without thinking about infrastructure, capacity management, or large scale deployments. Many of the hard problems of distributed systems development are abstracted away by Lambda's simple programming paradigm, so that our customers can focus on solving business problems. The Console team in AWS Lambda is making it even easier for developers to build new serverless applications, or extend existing systems using serverless technology. We own the serverless developer experience across the AWS Management Console, the SAM CLI and other AWS tools such as the CodeStar suite, the Cloud9 IDE. We build new user experiences across all these tools, enabling first time and experienced users alike to learn, monitor and extend Lambda. Why would you want to join our team? If
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and skills · Thorough knowledge of at least one server side framework. · Good knowledge of Web basics - HTML, CSS and JS. · Ability to work with XML Web Services and Linux/Unix · 3+ years experience designing and developing internet applications · Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design and general problem solving.· Passion for web technologies and design · Ability to work on the full stack: web to back-end. · Experience with at least one JS framework · Excellent communication skills and the ability to work
