AWS is building services for the Internet of Things (IoT) such as AWS IoT Analytics and AWS IoT Events that empower our customers to use their IoT data to improve their businesses. The AWS IoT Analytics and Events team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our team for a brand-new initiative. As a software engineer on our team, you will drive improvements to our technology, collaborating with sharp engineers and highly-engaged users to ship code continuously. We have many domains ranging from highly-scalable distributed backend systems, to complex optimization problems and device-side implementation. We are looking for software development leaders who share our vision for
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field · Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, and complexity analysis · Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java or C++· Experience building large-scale web services backed by cloud services, such as AWS · Experience in edge computing · Experience programming applications backed by AWS services · Experience in industrial automation or other IoT vertical domain · Experience developing solutions leveraging machine learning and analytics · Experience in stream processing Amazon is an
