Come work closely with our research scientists to build these hard models. With real (big) money, and real customer impact on the line, there is little room for us to get it wrong. We are looking for a software engineer with a passion for high coding standards, design patterns, and quality software delivery as we expand the program into new countries and launch additional credit products. This is a great opportunity for someone to take an engineering team leadership role within Amazon where the person who takes this position is expected to be an influencer of 2-3 teams of 6-8 engineers each. · BS in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field · 5+ years relevant work experience in software development · Solid knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design) · Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as Java (Preferred) or C#. · Excellent communication and analytical skills · MS in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field · Five years of progressively responsible work experience · Experience in building large
