The Alexa Communications Mobile Team is building Communication features in the Alexa Companion App allowing people to call/message each other using Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show or the Alexa App itself. · BS in Computer Science or equivalent · 5+ years of industry experience · Experience developing Android UI (Fragments and Custom view components) · Object-oriented development experience · Experience debugging using ADB · Version control experience · Experience with Java and the JDK · Experience with Android SDK and writing multi-threaded apps. · Experience with the tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming languages ( C/C++, Python, JavaScript) and open-source technologies. · Ideal candidates must be innovative, creative, flexible and be passionate about building great UX
