We're looking for experienced Software Development Engineers (SDE) passionate about enterprise management and governance of cloud resources. Our customers are IT administrators, compliance officers, and DevOps engineers who rely on AWS Config and Config Rules to help manage and govern their AWS resoures. The largest enterprises have hundreds of AWS accounts, hundreds of thousands of resources and dozens of IT personnel. Many of these large companies need solutions to help them track changes to their resources, and validate that the resource configuration adheres to the proper IT or regulatory compliance. AWS Config will record configuration changes to each resource, while Config rules will evaluate the configuration for compliance. Today, we record hundreds of millions of resource changes each month and evaluate those changes with over 1 million Config rules for our customers. · Experience developing large scale distributed systems · Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent · Track record of building and delivering mission critical, 24x7 production software systems · Familiarity with distributed systems, enterprise-wide systems and asynchronous messaging. · Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.· 3+ years of experience in building production software applications with focus on efficient back-end components. · 3+ years experience building high scale distributed systems that handle big amounts of data · Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing
