Amazon Music Stations is growing, and growing fast. To support this increase in customers, we're building large scale, robust, high throughput systems with a low cost of maintenance, using the best technologies and techniques at hand. We spend our time on things that matter to customers--not the muck of managing systems. We're a growing team, but we are still focused on keeping operations low. We spend our time on what's special for Amazon Music Stations, and use off the shelf AWS products for the rest, such as EC2, EMR, RDS, S3, SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB. Our system handles 10s of millions of calls per day across thousands of stations for Amazon Music's millions of customers around the world. On top of this layer we are building systems to manage, monitor, and action hundreds of simultaneous experiments across all stations. · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field of studies. · Excellent problem solving skills. · 1+ years of industry experience · Strong Computer Science Fundamentals · Data Structures and Algorithms · OO Design · System Designed · Distributed System Design · Strong verbal and written communication skills · A history of delivering high-quality features for large scale production systems.· Java/C++ Development Experience · Experience building complex, highly scalable software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers · Experience with Agile software development
