AWS IoT Analytics is a fast-growing multidisciplinary team addressing industrial customer needs to transform physical operations data into executional actions by making data-driven decisions throughout their value chains. Using our service, AWS customers will have full transparency into their data, without all the undifferentiated heavy-lifting associated with building systems to store, aggregate, correlate and analyze big data sets. Our technical challenges involve back-end software engineering, applied science, and user interface development. We need to build software and information systems to manage industrial data allowing the customer to build custom analysis engines to run on Amazon infrastructure in a secure and efficient manner. We need to build intuitive, responsive user interfaces that bridge the gap of machine and human data scale so that customers can effectively
· BS in Computer Science or equivalent · 10+ years of industry experience with at least some experience as team lead or architect · 3 year of programming experience in at least one object-oriented language (e.g., Java, Python, C/C++) · Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices· Advanced degree (MS, PhD) · Mastery of the tools of the trade, including experience with a variety of modern programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Objective C, Python, Ruby) and open-source technologies (e.g., Linux, SQLite, OpenGL,
