Each day, hundreds of thousands of advertisers use Amazon Advertising to deliver highly relevant ads to hundreds of millions of users. The Advertising Data Monetization team designs billing schemas and systems to process trillions of advertising events each month to continuously refresh advertising data billing reports and provide monthly bills for advertisers and 3rd party data providers. We are looking for talented software engineers to build the world's most powerful monetization platform, in terms of accuracy, security, scale, and features. In this role you will: · Write high-quality, efficient, testable code in Java and other object-oriented languages. · Build highly available, secure, distributed systems in a microservices architecture. · Collaborate with some of the best engineers in the industry to work on some of the most complex challenges in large-scale computing. · Find out what it takes to engineer systems for "Amazon Scale". · Own and operate the systems that you build based
· Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field • Equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education • 3+ years professional experience in software development • Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design • Computer Science fundamentals in data structures • Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis • Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language
