Come build the future of data streaming with the Amazon Streaming Ecosystem team! We are seeking builders to be the technical leaders to build new open source software focused on streaming technologies including Amazon Managed Streams for Kafka and Kinesis Data Streams. We are building software and libraries solving an increasingly diverse set of customers' needs at AWS scale.We are looking for engineers who are enthusiastic about data streaming, building services, and passionate about contributing to open source. As a member of the Amazon Streaming Ecosystem team, you will be making contributions to the open source community supporting Apache Kafka as well as software associated with Amazon for Kinesis Data Streams and Firehose. You will be responsible for ensuring upstream compatibility with existing services, and client performance improvements through data analysis and usage metrics. · Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of work experience or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 1+ year of work experience • Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design • Computer Science fundamentals in data structures • Experience writing complex scripts and/or object-oriented code in programming languages such as PowerShell and
