AWS Cryptography is looking for an experienced software engineer to enable developers outside and inside Amazon to build awesome and secure products. Security is the #1 concern of customers moving to the cloud and this team is dedicated to making it easy for our customers to build security into their applications. We enable customers to confidently move sensitive workloads to the cloud where they can benefit from strong security controls that help meet internal and external compliance requirements. Hardware Security Modules serve as strong roots of trust, but are notoriously hard for customers to configure and use. AWS CloudHSM pounds the Cloud into HSMs, so our users get cloud benefits like elasticity, high availability and scale along with uncompromising security for their most sensitive workloads. The team own customer facing services, synchronous and asynchronous workflows, and support external and internal customers. You will have direct access to product managers and customer service
· Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) · Experience with web-services or service-oriented architectures · Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C, Rust, Python including object-oriented design· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to a wide variety of audiences · Strong and creative problem solving abilities · Post-graduate degree in Computer
