Prime Video is disrupting traditional media with an ever-increasing selection of movies, TV shows, Emmy Award winning original content, add-on subscriptions including HBO and Showtime, and live events like Thursday Night Football. Our services are engineered for high availability, maximum reach, and cost savings we can pass on to customers. We enable the world to watch video instantly, from any device, whether on the road or from the comfort of a living room sofa. Linear content is unique for customers in the sense that it provides a) the availability of live event broadcasts such as Grammy’s, Australian Open, Winter Olympics and b) provides content for ‘zone out’ situations wherein customers don’t spend too much time figuring out what to watch. We are building a new team to disrupt the Live TV viewing experience.
