You will get first-hand experience in witnessing imaginative ways fraudsters apply computer science skills to do fraud and challenge your CS know how to out-maneuver these masterminds. We are building RESTful web services using massive (zettabyte) scale cloud trails, real-time streaming for data processing, and elastic MapReduce/MachineLearning to apply on machine learning models. We leverage the latest in data mining and web anti-fraud techniques. The work we do helps protect all AWS customers and lower the cost of cloud computing services. You will get a chance to learn and utilize various technologies that power our applications, such as EML, EMR, EC2, SWF, Kinesis, and datasources from NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, traditional databases like MySQL/RDS, and datawarehouse Redshift. On top of that
• BS, MS, or higher degree in computer science or a related discipline • 3+ years of software development experience • Fluency and experience in either Java or C# • Excellent problem solving ability and detailed knowledge of object-oriented design and development • 2+ years of experience designing and implementing RESTful web services • Experience with data mining, machine learning or predictive modeling systems • Experience building and operating mission critical, highly scalable distributed systems • Prior knowledge of payment processing, network security or anti-fraud systems
