We're looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDE) passionate about large scale enterprise management of AWS resources. Amazon Web Services has made it incredibly easy for customers to create resources in the cloud, including EC2 instances, RDS databases, S3 files, etc. At same time, IT administrators are asking for tools to help them manage the lifecycle for all these resources in their environment. They want to know the configuration of a resource, and ensure that it adheres to all the required IT policies. This needs to be done at scale, across potentially hundreds of accounts, and multiple AWS regions for 100Ks of resources. It is a big data challenge, with the future of enterprise cloud administration at stake. Every month, we process hundreds of millions of AWS resource configuration changes, and help to check these settings for compliance. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields · 1+ years of production software development or equivalent experience · Strong computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithm design and problem-solving skills · Demonstrated proficiency and experience and with, at least, one modern programming language such as Java, Ruby, Python, C++, C# or equivalent programming language; and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new programming languages and tools.· Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields. · Knowledge of professional
