As a Software Development Engineer, you will take an exciting and challenging role on a team that is innovating on the Reading experience on iOS or Android mobile devices for millions of Amazon customers. You will work with world-class engineers, business leaders, and other talented engineering teams to design and implement Kindle Reader features that provide great values to our customers. Our team develops cutting edge Kindle applications that are at the forefront of reinventing our customer’s reading experience on iOS and Android devices. · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience · 2+ years’ full-time experience in software design and development · Proficiency with at least one Object Oriented language (e.g. Objective C, Java, C/C++) · Strong CS fundamentals with data-structures and algorithms · A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects · Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers · Strong sense of ownership, dive deep, and a willingness to experiment rapidly and get things done· MS in Computer Science
