The Amazon Alexa Speech team is looking for a Software Engineer-II to build the next generation Speech model building services to power the rapidly growing Alexa customer base. We handle millions of requests from our modeling services and we need to continuously evolve
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering · 4+ years industry experience building production software systems · Experience building scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems for commercial online services. · Experience in modern programming languages (C/C++, Java, Python), open-source technologies and multiple operating systems (Linux, Android etc.)· Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering · Experience developing cloud software services for scalability, performance and reliability. · Knowledge of professional software engineering practices
