We are looking for talented engineers to build the next generation of software development tools for deploying artificial intelligence based solutions to Microsoft's Holographic Processing Unit (HPU). In this position you will work closely with hardware designers, artificial intelligence researchers, and other software engineers across Microsoft to develop a tool chain that connects the most popular open source machine learning toolkits to Microsoft's state of the art hardware for artificial intelligence acceleration.
Design, develop, and maintain software systems that compile neural-network models for execution on the HPU. Extend popular open source machine learning toolkits used to train neural network models allowing them to take advantage of the unique capabilities of the HPU. Develop software tools that enable performance analysis and optimization of neural-network models. Collaborate with artificial intelligence researchers to develop efficient neural-network models for natural language processing, computer vision and other signal processing applications. Collaborate with operating-system engineers to
