As a part of Cloud and AI, the Product Release and Security Services (PRSS) team is responsible for the services that provide signing, scanning for malware and certificate management for all Microsoft products and services. The impact that our engineers have is realized in virtually every product release at Microsoft. The PRSS infrastructure team (network, security, storage, and compute) is continually designing, automating, implementing and improving the security and availability of our next generation of software services. We currently manage multiple purpose-built state of the art facilities and 1000's of devices (Enterprise Scale). Partner with network, security, storage and compute peers to design highly secure and available private cloud solutions. Design simple processes for running the network infrastructure. Automate defined processes to eliminate human error and increase availability and standards. Deploy and maintain state of the art network equipment and tools.
Basic Qualifications: Experience with designing and implementing network architectures that include WAN to server communication. Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP/Routing protocols (i.e., OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS). Comprehensive troubleshooting skills across the OSI layer (Routing, Switching, and Firewall). Experience with designing and implementing application load balancing (LTM/HLB).
