Amazon is seeking to hire and develop leaders that have the capability to grow into general managers that can independently run large business segments spanning multiple functional areas. Incoming hires are given ownership of large, important areas of opportunity; the autonomy to make decisions; and the ability to drive significant impact to the customer experience. The successful candidate has experience building strong relationships, driving significant top and bottom line results, and managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment. They will work with strategic vendors/brands in the Jewelry, Watches and Luggage categories and must have the leadership presence and communication
· Bachelor's degree · 5-7 years of relevant experience in retail, operations, and/or business management/consulting with a proven track record of delivering results · 2+ years negotiation experience · 3-4 years of experience using Excel · 3-5 years managing multiple projects – prioritization, planning and task delegation. · MBA preferred · Online retail experience · Understanding of retail metrics including financials · Understanding and experience with building category plans and variance +/- vs. plan · Excellent business judgment with strong written and oral communication skills · Strong interpersonal
