Amazon is seeking to hire and develop leaders that have the capability to grow into general managers that can independently run large business segments spanning multiple functional areas. Incoming hires are given ownership of large, important areas of opportunity; the autonomy to make decisions; and the ability to drive significant impact to the customer experience. We are looking for a visionary leader to define the growth strategy for Amazon Canada’s Kids and Private Label businesses. As nascent businesses, both businesses offer huge potential for growth in new categories and are high-priority initiatives for Amazon Canada. · Bachelor's degree · 5-7 years of relevant experience in retail, operations, and/or business management/consulting with a proven track record of delivering results · 2+ years negotiation experience · 3-4 years of experience using Excel · 3-5 years managing multiple projects – prioritization, planning and task delegation. · Project management skills and/or experience · MBA preferred · Online retail experience · Understanding of retail metrics including financials · Understanding and experience with building category plans and variance +/- vs. plan · Excellent business judgment with strong written
