Amazon is looking for a passionate candidate with the proven ability to build and drive core buying functions for its Health and Personal Care category. The successful candidate will aggressively expand the business in the Bars and Diet category by developing multi-year strategies, initiating brand relationships, driving business development, negotiating contracts and monitoring / reacting to industry trends. You will have full P and L responsibility from top line to operating margin. You will be an effective leader and communicator, with strong business acumen, acute analytical skills, and the demonstrated ability to use creative thinking and innovation to solve complex problems. And your success will partly depend on your ability to build and develop an effective team of specialists to tackle vendor-level opportunities and build scalable solutions. - Bachelor’s Degree plus 5+ years of experience within relevant areas such as buying/planning, brand/product management, management consulting, finance, investment banking or business analysis. - Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Detail oriented. - 3+ years of experience with data analytics tools, particularly Advanced Excel skills - Strong analytical acumen and being comfortable with drawing metric-based conclusions by managing an extensive amount of data - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects – prioritization, planning and task delegation.- MBA -
