Amazon is looking for a passionate candidate and general athlete to manage complex categories and important vendors for Beauty Appliances. The Beauty Appliance team is focused on delivering a world-class customer experience by bringing the largest selection of brands and products to millions of customers, providing convenient access to everything they need. The successful candidate will independently expand the business for Beauty Appliances by developing multi-year strategies, initiating brand relationships, driving business development, negotiating contracts, understanding customer insights, and analyzing industry trends. The candidate will have full P and L responsibility from top line to operating margin. They will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of their categories and will work with vendor specialist(s) to execute upon these
· Bachelor’s Degree plus 5+ years of experience within relevant areas such as buying/planning, brand/product management, management consulting, finance, investment banking or business analysis. · · Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Detail oriented. · · Experience with data analytics tools, particularly Advanced Excel skills · · Strong analytical acumen and being comfortable with drawing metric-based conclusions by managing an extensive amount of data · · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects – prioritization, planning and task delegation· MBA · · Proven
