The Consumables Selection Team (CST) is seeking an energetic, results-oriented, customer-centric team player to help identify, negotiate and onboard brand owners to an Amazon retail relationship. The candidate should possess experience in buying, marketing, and/or business development, with a track record of successful relationship management, strong analytical acumen, and experience generating and managing reporting and analysis. Great communication skills and understanding of Excel will be essential to your success. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will take ownership of relationships and business problems to a successful result. Some of the key job functions of this position are: - Research the Consumables segment to find opportunities where Amazon can add new products to offer our customers · Seek out and develop strong relationships with brand owners in the Consumables segment - Work with cross functional teams to build and Amazon retail value proposition to ultimately influence
· Bachelor’s Degree · 5+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, business development, or relevant area such as Retail, CPG, or Management Consulting · 5+ years of experience using Excel to analyze data to support decision-makingProven track record of taking ownership and delivering results · Strong multi-tasking ability and experience with meeting multiple deadlines · Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written), with vendor, client, or customer-facing experience · Experience in a buying or business development · Strong project management skills and experience
