The Business, Industrial and Scientific Supplies (BISS) team at Amazon is looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Senior Vendor Manager who will be responsible for managing and expanding one of our fast-growing Industrial product categories. This leader will be adept at creating win-win relationships and an outstanding customer experience, and will love delivering big results. The ideal candidate will be experienced in negotiations and sales best practices, and also have the analytical mind to understand and drive key performance metrics and input and output goals. This person will be responsible for driving the top and bottom lines of the product category, expanding selection by building vendor relationships, identify areas for category expansion, support multiple stakeholder teams across different functional areas on milestones committed to senior leadership, negotiating payment terms/coop/pricing, planning marketing promotions, driving better product availability through operational
· Bachelor’s degree · Professional experience influencing internal and external stakeholders · Proficiency with SQL and Excel· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering · Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation · Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail in a high-energy, fast-paced environment · Supply chain, inventory management, finance, vendor and/or project
