As the Sr. UX Designer for our Inclusive Customer Experiences program, you will craft simple, customer-centric design solutions that are focused on improving the shopping experience for the full diversity of Amazon’s customers. You are obsessed with creating experiences that are loved by your customers, even those you may not have intentionally designed for before. You love to learn new perspectives, dive into unknown territory and invent simple, elegant solutions to complex challenges. You will build cross-functional and cross-org relationships, facilitate design and product ideation sessions, and collaboratively influence other teams to have a broad impact for Amazon's diverse customer communities. The Amazon Retail Experience Design team is a group of highly curious designers, researchers, and prototypers working collaboratively to bring products to life, power the Amazon shopping experience, and deliver innovation at incredible scale across all devices and touch-points. · Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience · 6+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role · Education, work or volunteer experience in diversity and inclusion subject matter areas (e.g. race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, etc.) · An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions and patterns on mobile devices · Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar
