Amazon Fuse is a newly launched product and team at Amazon. The Fuse team works closely with international partners in the subscriptions and content space. The ideal candidate is passionate about making complex things feel simple for our customers and has experience working on consumer-facing UX designs. We are looking for strong blue sky/ideation skills, robust holistic systems thinking, deep attention to detail, and passion for delivering simple and delightful experiences. You will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of product managers, marketing managers, and developers. Collaboration and product ownership is essential, requiring you to be a great communicator, be able to successfully present and align with the business and tech teams. Additionally, this design role has high leadership visibility (up to the VP level) so you need be able to convincingly present your work to senior leadership and support it with data. · At least 5 years of experience in UX design, with at least 2 years designing consumer or enterprise experiences (web, mobile, device, software, or other media). · Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field or equivalent professional experience. · Portfolio of innovative design work that demonstrates proficiency in interaction design. · Proficiency with design tools (e.g, Sketch, InVision, InDesign, Photoshop, Axure, Omnigraffle). · Experience mentoring designers and leading complex projects. · Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as demonstrated
