We are looking for talented Trade Compliance Program Manager to support our rapidly growing and evolving businesses. You will support operations by executing on a broad range of import compliance matters, including high profile projects related to trade compliance automation. You will work directly with retail procurement teams, transportation operations, legal, tax and a variety of internal businesses and outside vendors to drive import compliance across the supply chain. Principal Duties · Provide strategic expertise on import customs regulations and advise internal business customers on best practices and requirements · Work with Amazon’s Global Trade Services, Trade Counsel and other cross-functional teams to execute strategy, build and monitor global import processes, seek automation opportunities and leverage technology · Think Big and Drive Innovation
· Bachelor’s Degree · A penchant for working with pace - you move quickly on deliverables, thrive on ambiguity and are not afraid to experiment · Seasoned program management skills backed up by a track record of working independently to break down problems and deliver results · Overall business acumen · Direct experience driving large scale, cross functional initiatives · 8+ years of experience with import/export compliance program management · Ability to clearly articulate regulatory concepts and strategy to all levels and audiences, including retail, tech, finance and transportation · Retail
