The Amazon Alexa Auto team is looking for a highly motivated Technical Program Manager to lead our safety-related programs for Alexa – the voice controlled AI behind the Amazon Echo – in cars. As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) responsible for Safety, you will create, define and execute cross-functional programs that span Amazon’s automotive related products and programs. Your decisions will be informed by relevant industry standards and guidelines such as ISO26262 and NHTSA. In this role, you will work directly with software engineering, user experience, business development, marketing, and other leaders to bring products to market that are delightful to use and minimize driver distraction. The TPM position requires excellent leadership skills, strong technical expertise, and hands-on project management skills. The right candidate is adept at writing technical specifications,
