The AI team within AWS is responsible for setting the AI strategy and delivering machine learning services across multiple segments and requirement to AWS customers. Today, the team delivers multiple computer vision services such as Amazon Rekognition for video and images, and Amazon Textract for documents. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will: · Enable transparency and decision-making across AWS executive leadership by providing critical communication and clear status of the initiatives you own. · Bring your expertise, problem solving skills, and creativity to add value and diversity of thought to our team. · Unify distributed engineering efforts and owning the plan to deliver high-profile new computer vision features and services. · Drive technical requirements, design, and delivery planning, working across engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure successful launch of initiatives. · 3+ years as a Technical Program Manager or equivalent experience · Ability to work on a diverse team · Proven ability to influence senior leadership (Director, VP) level · Strong communication (verbal and written) skills · Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers, business owners, and senior business leaders · Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to work successfully across all engineering disciplines · Resourceful - able to deliver results with minimal direction. · Solid understanding of developer tools and cloud technologies · 3 years experience
