Amazon's Compensation Technology (ACT) Team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager responsible for driving the definition, design, development, and launch of key initiatives. The ideal candidate is a customer obsessed, creative, demonstrated technical leader and hands-on contributor with superior analytical abilities. This opportunity requires excellent problem solving, communication, cross-organizational leadership skills. As a Senior TPM, you will be responsible for leading your programs by driving strategy and engaging with launch partners to deliver on large software projects end-to-end. You will be expected to make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams. · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience · Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules · 7+ years of relevant work experience in internet-related technical program and/or technical product management in a software development environment · Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units · Experience with agile or other program management methodologies · Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or business · Prior experience as a software
